How many T-shirts in Twin size Quilt:

Customers love my ability to take about 30 favorite t-shirts and arrange them into a twin sized t-shirt quilt. I use jerseys, sweatshirts, t-shirts and even sweaters. I can add patches and hats. T-shirt quilts can also be made with less t-shirts depending on the design.

Stabilizing the t-shirts for Durability and Appearance:

Making t-shirt quilts requires the t-shirts be stabilized for a professional look. I will back each of your t-shirts prior to sewing with a lightweight interfacing to increase the durability and improve the look. This also allows you to use your best loved t-shirts that may have a few small holes. I have backed jerseys with t-shirt fabric to cover the holes before backing the piece for stability.

Most of my customers t-shirt quilts are twin or full size but I have also made queen and king size quilts. The number of t-shirt available and the customer plans dictate the size.

What if I have more than 30 favorite t-shirts?

Additional shirts can be used for larger quilts. I have always fit all of the shirts in the quilt. I use shirt pocket emblems and small details in the quilts for no additional charge. Quilting Detail:

I quilt heavily for stability and appearance. This quilting around the emblem takes additional time but my customers love it. It helps their theme to pot out and also holds up very well with heavy use. This additional quilting takes additional time and my prices reflect that. All of my quilts are machine quilted and not tied like some of my competitors for durability.

Shirt Collars and patches in T-shirt Quilts:

I have put many collars including v necks collars and shirt tops in these t-shirt quilts for a unique look. I have also included patches on the t-shirt quilts. Pretty much anything that goes through my industrial sewing machine is fair game. I am flexible and enjoy a challenge. Making these quilts for my customers is my passion.

Design Options for T-shirt Quilts:

Most customers prefer the random placement of shirts so that more shirts can be used in the t-shirt quilt and the design. Many customers get this t-shirt quilt for their children's graduation and have used shirts starting as toddlers and continuing till graduation. I have even included bibs and blue jeans in the t-shirt quilts. I have additional t-shirt quilts on my gallery page.
